Community Builder & PR Manager

About the role

HerGrowth, a global community for women professionals, is seeking a Community Builder & PR Lead. You will be the voice, vibe, and growth engine of the community, driving engagement, partnerships, and media visibility while keeping the experience authentic and non‑salesy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily and weekly engagement across channels such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Circle and Slack, and design onboarding and activation journeys.
• Launch engagement rituals like weekly themes, challenges, spotlight series and peer circles to turn passive members into active contributors.
• Plan and execute virtual sessions and local meet‑ups in priority markets (UAE, GCC, India, Africa, global hubs) and manage mentorship circles, career clinics, leadership circles and networking pods.
• Build partnerships with women networks, universities, accelerators, corporates and DEI leaders, co‑creating initiatives that add real community value.
• Own PR outreach: identify media outlets, podcasts and newsletters, draft press releases, pitch story angles and secure speaking opportunities for founders and community leaders.
• Create and curate member success stories, hiring wins, partnership highlights and event recaps, driving user‑generated content and testimonials.
• Track and report community metrics (growth, activation, engagement, retention) and PR metrics (mentions, features, backlinks) on a weekly basis.

Required profile

• Passionate people‑person with strong storytelling and brand‑amplifying abilities.
• Connector comfortable building relationships with members, partners and media.
• Experience in community building, public relations or related fields, preferably within a professional or women‑focused network.
