Communications Officer – Research Integrity & Ethics

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a hands‑on Communications Officer to support its Research Integrity, Ethics and Editorial Policy portfolio. The role will focus on delivering high‑quality communications that reinforce trust in the research published by the company, with a particular emphasis on initiatives in India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications campaigns that showcase Springer Nature’s work on research integrity globally and in India.
• Draft a variety of content including blogs, press releases, social media posts and internal communications.
• Identify and promote relevant stories, case studies and partnership opportunities.
• Support events, thought‑leadership activities and stakeholder engagements, especially those involving India‑based partners.
• Assist with issues management by monitoring research‑integrity‑related developments, drafting media responses and coordinating input from RIG, editorial, legal and regional teams.
• Maintain trackers, report on emerging risks and ensure timely, accurate communication across corporate affairs, the Research Integrity Group and editorial teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on communicator eager to build experience in a complex, high‑profile communications environment.
• Interest in research integrity, ethics and editorial policy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with corporate affairs, editorial and regional stakeholders.
