Communications Executive

About the role

The Communications Executive will manage day‑to‑day communication activities that strengthen ThePilot.in’s brand and support its aviation training services. Based on‑site in Mumbai, the role involves drafting press releases, coordinating media outreach and creating engaging content for multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases and other public‑facing content aligned with brand guidelines.
• Coordinate media outreach and maintain relationships with journalists and industry stakeholders.
• Create clear and engaging written content for online and offline channels.
• Support strategic communications plans and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
• Monitor media coverage and report on communication outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Prior experience in strategic communications and media relations, preferably in education, training or aviation.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort working on‑site in Mumbai and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficient writing for web, email and print materials.
• Ability to draft press releases and manage public‑facing content.
