Communications and Campaign Expert

About the role

IPE Global’s Social and Economic Empowerment practice is seeking a Communications and Campaign Expert to design and lead a state‑level campaign in Gujarat that boosts female participation in paid employment. The role will shape strategic communications that challenge gender norms, inspire action, and highlight women’s economic contributions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive state‑level campaign promoting young women’s entry into the workforce, addressing social norms and showcasing aspirational job roles and skilling opportunities.
• Create customizable templates for district‑level adoption, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and materials.
• Develop compelling, emotionally resonant campaign narratives in collaboration with multiple government departments.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, implementation partners, and the national team to align campaigns with project goals and audience needs.
• Build partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and other collaborators to maximise outreach and public support.
• Organise state‑wide events to launch the campaign.
• Conduct post‑campaign evaluations, including data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and impact assessment reports to identify improvements, trends, gaps, and opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, campaign design, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in development or gender‑focused initiatives.
