About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis to join the kitchen team at Novotel Goa Panjim. As a junior member of the culinary department, you will support food preparation and help maintain the high standards of our hotel restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Production team with daily food preparation tasks.
- Carry out duties assigned by the Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef or Chef de Partie across any kitchen section.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards, following HACCP procedures and keeping accurate records.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to the hotel’s quality standards.
- Perform miscellaneous kitchen duties as required and report any issues that may affect hotel operations.
Required profile
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced hotel kitchen environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality food and service to guests.
Required skills
- Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
