About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cook / Commis Chef to join our contemporary 5‑star hotel kitchen. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, creating visually appealing continental dishes while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and service.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate continental meals with an eye for presentation and taste.
  • Maintain your workstation, monitor supplies, equipment, and waste.
  • Ensure cleanliness that exceeds local hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with washing up and general kitchen duties as needed.
  • Support the team with ad‑hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Required profile

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
