Commercial Manager – Costing & Pricing

About the role

The Finance department of a manufacturing client in Padavala, Rajkot is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead costing and pricing activities. You will be responsible for developing profitable pricing strategies across product SKUs and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SKU‑wise and segment‑wise product costing and formulate pricing models that drive margin improvement.
• Monitor production costs, material wastage, and cost variances; conduct regular cost control audits across departments.
• Prepare and analyse MIS reports, including Price‑Volume‑Mix (PVM) analysis and e‑commerce reconciliation, to support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Stores teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in costing and pricing within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven track record of managing cross‑functional projects and driving cost‑saving initiatives.
