Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, being helpful, friendly and solution‑oriented.
• Handle complaints and inquiries, listening actively and resolving concerns efficiently.
• Maintain an organized, well‑equipped workspace to optimise the shopping experience.
• Process payments accurately and ensure a positive checkout experience.
• Assist customers with product assembly issues and manage exchanges of components.
• Support store commercial action plans to maximise sales and profitability.
• Ensure store safety, compliance and a secure environment for customers and colleagues.
• Uphold and reflect IKEA values in all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Passionate about creating a positive shopping experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork orientation and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Friendly, approachable and ready to assist customers with their needs.
• Calm under pressure, able to handle complaints with empathy.
• Experience in customer service and retail settings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Genuine interest in home furnishing and understanding of customers’ everyday lives at home.
