Cluster Manager - Payments - Merchant Acquiring

About the role

The Cluster Manager – Payments – Merchant Acquiring will lead Bajaj Finance Ltd.'s QR acquiring initiative in a defined territory. The role involves building the sales organization from the ground up, deploying QR solutions, and driving transaction volume and gross merchandise value (GMV) in line with the company’s broader payments strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and structure a QR acquiring sales team, including full‑time employees and outsourced field sales executives.
• Execute the QR acquiring strategy on the field, ensuring alignment with the overall payments roadmap.
• Achieve defined acquisition targets, transaction volumes and GMV goals.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and adjust tactics to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and leading sales teams, preferably in payments or merchant acquiring.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑changing environment, showing resilience and adaptability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and developing team members.
