Cluster Director of Learning & Development

About the role

We are seeking a Cluster Director of Learning & Development to lead the design, implementation and monitoring of training programmes across our hotel portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that learning initiatives align with each hotel’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and review learning needs analyses for each hotel before budgeting.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to design, implement and facilitate training plans and budgets that support strategic objectives.
• Monitor and follow‑up on all training activities to guarantee effectiveness and completion.
• Ensure 100 % compliance with Ennismore compliance training across the cluster.
• Coordinate delivery of training programmes from internal providers.
• Champion the use of company e‑learning platforms, overseeing approval processes, registrations and completion tracking.
• Assist hotels in creating introductory and ongoing departmental training plans, providing coaching and support to junior, mid‑level and senior leaders.
• Support the Quality and Learning Manager in developing departmental trainers as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in learning and development within a hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and align budgets.
• Ability to ensure compliance with corporate training standards.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with multiple hotel teams and internal providers.
• Proactive approach to coaching leaders and developing internal trainers.
