Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

RheumaCARE is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Clinical Pharmacist to join its multidisciplinary team in Gulbarga. The pharmacist will work closely with rheumatologists and other clinicians to optimise medication therapy for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Review medication orders, verify dosages and identify potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients and families on medication use, administration, side‑effects, adherence and lifestyle considerations.
• Document clinical interventions in the medical record and support formulary management.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and contribute to treatment protocols.
• Assist with clinical research activities and educate staff on pharmacotherapy updates.

Required profile

• PharmD, BAMS or BHMS degree with a valid pharmacist licence.
• Prior experience in a clinical, hospital or specialty clinic setting, preferably with rheumatology or chronic disease exposure.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions, clinical notes, laboratory data and evidence‑based guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
