About the role

The Portland Area Manager will lead our janitorial teams across multiple sites, ensuring cleaning and maintenance tasks meet high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations across several locations, maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Manage, train, and develop a team of janitors and supervisors.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and control budgets for labor, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Address client or staff issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement sustainability practices in cleaning methods and products.
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for senior management.
