The Cleaning Specialist II will lead our janitorial teams across multiple sites in the Portland area, ensuring that cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational expertise while upholding health and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations across several locations, guaranteeing high‑quality cleanliness and maintenance.
• Recruit, train, and develop janitors and supervisors, fostering a culture of performance and teamwork.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring teams have necessary resources.
• Prepare and control budgets for labor, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Address client or staff issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement sustainable cleaning practices and monitor their effectiveness.
• Produce reports and performance metrics for senior management.
