Civil Surveyor – AMNS (Quality Control)

About the role

The Surveyor (Civil) AMNS will lead quality control activities on construction sites, ensuring that all inspections, tests and documentation meet project specifications and Indian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate inspections and tests performed by contractors according to the project Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• Witness and approve concrete mix trials, both in‑house and at external laboratories.
• Inspect day‑to‑day construction activities, including reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete pours, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications and Indian standards.
• Review and certify contractor protocols, method statements and fabricated items such as insert plates.
• Raise and track Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and manage their closure.
• Collect and document pour cards, test reports, material inspection reports and maintain records of RMC production.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of QA/QC or inspection experience in steel plants, oil & gas refineries, chemical or power plants.
• Hands‑on experience in piling, concrete (various grades) and soil testing inspections.
• Familiarity with Indian Standards (IS) for civil works and construction bar requirements.
• Ability to prepare monthly presentations on RMC production, test results and non‑conformities.
