Civil Site Execution Engineer

About the role

The Civil Site Execution Engineer is responsible for managing day‑to‑day civil construction activities on‑site. You will ensure that work progresses according to design, schedule, quality and safety standards while coordinating closely with site teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned civil works (earthwork, substructure, superstructure, finishing) using approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors and workforce to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Monitor daily site progress and promptly report any delays or issues.
• Ensure timely availability and optimal use of materials, manpower and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, brickwork, plastering, etc.
• Maintain site documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection checklists and material reconciliations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and with HSE to enforce safe work practices.
• Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, joint measurements and contractor billing.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with design and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction site execution.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and manage on‑site resources.
• Strong understanding of construction codes, client requirements and safety guidelines.
• Effective communication with design, QA/QC and HSE teams.
