Civil Engineering Software Trainer – Remote

About the role

TECHTA is seeking a remote Civil Engineering Software Trainer to deliver high‑quality instruction on industry‑standard design tools. The role focuses on preparing students and professionals to use civil software effectively and stay current with emerging trends.

Key responsibilities

• Stay updated on the latest civil engineering software and industry practices.
• Deliver engaging training sessions on tools such as AutoCAD, Staad.Pro, ETABS, SAFE and others.
• Interpret and address student requirements, providing full‑time support throughout their learning journey.
• Assist students and partner universities in implementing new software workflows.
• Contribute to curriculum development based on evolving industry standards.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (required); ME/M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Open to fresh graduates as well as experienced candidates.
• Strong interest in teaching and understanding student needs.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using structural design tools such as Staad.Pro, ETABS, SAFE.
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures, SAP2000, Abaqus, Ansys is a plus.
