Civil Engineer (Estimation)

About the role

Clear Vision Company Limited is seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer (Estimation) to join its corporate office in Kochi. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, supporting bid preparation, and ensuring cost‑control throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering quantities, materials, labour, and equipment in line with project specifications.
• Review drawings and technical documents and obtain vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyse project risks and cost impacts, update estimation databases, and support tender submissions.
• Assist in value‑engineering studies to optimise project costs.
• Coordinate with site teams to compare estimated versus actual costs and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide commercial decision support to management based on cost data.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles and site coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Previous experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or project costing for industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with estimation and design software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take‑off tools; familiarity with ERP or project‑management systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and safety practices in civil and industrial construction.
