Civil Contractor – Construction Site Management

About the role

JS Associates is seeking a Civil Contractor to lead on‑site construction activities in Thiruvananthapuram, India. This full‑time, on‑site role ensures projects progress according to plans, specifications, and safety standards while supporting quality control and budget adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day construction work and coordinate with site supervisors and labour crews.
• Manage resources, supervise subcontractors, and monitor material usage.
• Maintain site documentation such as work logs, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities to resolve site issues.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and enforce health and safety practices.
• Support quality control activities and adhere to budget and schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Strong civil construction and site‑management experience, including supervision of structural, masonry, and finishing works.
• Knowledge of construction safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Basic understanding of cost control, estimation, and material management for infrastructure projects.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Proven experience as a Civil Contractor or Site Engineer on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Thiruvananthapuram with flexibility for extended hours.
