Child Minder

About the role

The Child Minder ensures a safe, engaging, and supervised environment for guests' children within the designated kids' area or creche. While parents enjoy other property amenities, you will provide attentive care, maintain safety standards, and create a positive experience for children of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times, maintaining constant visual oversight and accurate headcounts.
• Register children on drop‑off, capturing details such as name, age, parent contact, allergies, special needs, and pick‑up authorizations.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities, games, and entertainment to keep children engaged.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the play area and equipment.
• Administer basic first aid for minor injuries and promptly alert security, medical staff, or management for emergencies.
• Release children only to authorized parents/guardians as per registration records.
• Monitor capacity limits and enforce age‑appropriate access.
• Document and report any incidents, injuries, or concerns according to SOPs.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and security for area cleanliness, safety checks, and access control.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) education; background in childcare, early childhood education, or nursing preferred.
• Certification in childcare, first aid, or CPR preferred or willingness to undergo training.
• Prior experience in a creche, nursery, or similar childcare setting is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi; additional languages are a plus.
• Patient, caring, responsible personality with a genuine affinity for children.
• Ability to pass background verification/police clearance if required.

Required skills

• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
