Chief Technical Officer (CTO) – Construction

About the role

The organization is seeking a visionary Chief Technical Officer to lead engineering and project execution across its construction portfolio. This senior leader will shape technical strategy, drive innovation, and ensure delivery excellence for high‑rise residential and mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for engineering, design, and project delivery across all developments.
• Establish standardized technical practices, QA/QC systems, and project delivery frameworks.
• Drive value engineering, adoption of emerging construction technologies, and digital engineering platforms such as BIM.
• Lead multidisciplinary design reviews covering structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Introduce and manage advanced project management tools, ERP, and Project CRM systems.
• Support land due‑diligence, design optimisation, and technical feasibility studies.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing technical leadership team.
• Collaborate with the Board and senior management on long‑term growth strategy.

Required profile

• 18+ years of experience in real‑estate development or integrated construction firms, preferably with national or multinational exposure.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale premium residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Deep understanding of engineering governance, contracts, budgeting, and customer‑centric delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to relocate and travel extensively across India.
