Chief of Staff

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to partner with our senior leader and drive execution of strategic priorities across a global team. You will bring efficiency, process rigor, and standardisation to the organisation while fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the leadership team defines effective OKRs, communicates transparently, and acts on culture‑related topics.
• Build relationships across SEW, identifying opportunities for SEW products to make an impact worldwide.
• Travel to global locations (USA, Canada, EU, ANZ) as needed.
• Lead or co‑lead special projects, strategic initiatives, and governance activities.
• Partner with the Product Management leader to shape organisational strategy and assess priorities.
• Represent the organisation in key executive meetings.
• Identify cultural improvement areas (career development, hiring, surveys, training) and turn them into actionable plans.
• Coordinate communication for all‑hands and manager meetings.
• Design organisational processes that accelerate decision‑making for product management and customer success.
• Support leaders in personal development planning and progress tracking.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of leadership responsibility, portfolio management, or prior Chief of Staff experience.
• Proven track record of improving team quality, performance, agility, or effectiveness.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, with strong creative and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to build effective relationships across executive leadership, recruiting, administration, product management, and engineering.
• Education: MBA, MS, EE/CS/CE or equivalent.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle for cloud, e‑Mobility, and AI/ML products and services.
• Familiarity with OKR methodology.
