Chemistry Teacher – Senior Secondary (Grades 11‑12)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging, concept‑driven instruction to Grades 11 and 12 at Oakridge International School, Bachupally. The role focuses on preparing students for board and competitive examinations while fostering scientific curiosity and practical laboratory skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Chemistry lessons covering physical, organic, and inorganic topics.
• Design inquiry‑based, experiential, and student‑centred learning activities.
• Conduct practical laboratory sessions and enforce safety procedures.
• Prepare students for board examinations, Olympiads, and other assessments.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and question papers.
• Integrate technology, simulations, and digital resources to enhance learning.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and address learning gaps.
• Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to support student development.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience at Senior Secondary level.
• Familiarity with CBSE, IGCSE, IB or other international curricula (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of the Senior Secondary Chemistry curriculum.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and technology.
• Experience with chemistry simulations and digital resources.
• Ability to maintain laboratory safety procedures.
• Competence in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
