Chemical Technician – Manufacturing & Process Support

About the role

We are seeking a Chemical Technician to support our chemical processing and manufacturing operations at our Talegaon facility. The role involves overseeing cleaning, coating, plating, and laboratory activities to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage chemical cleaning, coating, plating, final cleaning, and glass cleaning processes, including recipe creation, parameter setting, and compliance monitoring.
• Perform routine analysis of chemical baths (titration, specific gravity, FTIR, AES) and maintain laboratory records in IQS/MES systems.
• Investigate non‑conformance reports, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve process yield.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical equipment such as XRF, FTIR, AES, and profilometers, and develop automated testing methods as needed.
• Train and certify operators on chemical processes, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma/B.Sc./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in chemical processing, electro‑plating, surface treatment or related manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems, EHS regulations and chemical safety practices.
