Chartered Accountant – Raipur

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our accounting firm in Raipur. The role involves overseeing all accounting activities in line with current legislation and providing expert financial guidance to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements and reports.
• Conduct internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with state authorities.
• Prepare and file tax returns, track tax liabilities, and advise on tax‑related matters.
• Identify and rectify financial discrepancies, and suggest fraud‑prevention measures.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, vendors and business partners to provide accurate financial information.
• Develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Negotiate monetary terms with vendors and support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or CPA accredited by a recognized professional body.
• Solid work experience in accounting, auditing and tax compliance.
• Ability to supervise an accounting team and implement efficient accounting processes.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial risks and investigate irregularities.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
