Chartered Accountant – Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and competent Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as an Indirect Taxation Specialist. The ideal candidate will stay updated on the latest regulations and ensure compliance for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Stay abreast of changes in indirect taxation laws and ensure timely, accurate filing of GST returns, VAT and other related documentation.
• Provide expert advice on indirect tax implications for business transactions and help clients optimise their tax positions.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews to identify risks, propose mitigation strategies and rectify compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their operations and financial goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, mentor junior members and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• In‑depth knowledge of GST, VAT and other indirect tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
