Chartered Accountant – Finance & Compliance

About the role

We are a growing real estate development company seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead our financial operations in Pune. The role involves managing statutory compliance, project accounting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, ledger entries and perform bank reconciliations using Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensure GST compliance and reconciliation.
• Handle Income Tax returns, tax computation and TDS compliance.
• Conduct statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheet, profit & loss and MIS reports.
• Manage TDS returns, payments and related compliance activities.
• Utilise ERP systems such as SAP or other accounting software for financial processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• 7‑10 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax and audit.
• Based in Pune and able to work on‑site.
• Strong analytical ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.

Required skills

• Tally Prime accounting software.
• SAP or other ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• GST return filing and compliance.
• Income Tax computation and TDS filing.
• Statutory, internal and tax audit procedures.
• Preparation of balance sheets, P&L statements and MIS reports.
