About the role
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to join our Direct Tax practice, focusing on income‑tax compliance and advisory assignments. The role offers exposure to a variety of tax engagements, from preparing returns to supporting audit and litigation matters.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review income‑tax computations and returns for corporate and individual clients.
- Assist in tax audit assignments and support the handling of scrutiny assessments and appellate proceedings.
- Conduct research on provisions of the Income‑Tax Act and recent judicial pronouncements.
- Analyse financial statements from a tax perspective.
- Provide advisory support on direct‑tax matters to clients.
Required profile
- Fresher (Qualified CA) – must have completed articleship with exposure to tax assignments and possess strong analytical skills.
- Experienced candidate – 2 to 3 years of post‑qualification experience in direct‑tax compliance and advisory.
- Committed, detail‑oriented professional with a solid foundation in tax and willingness to take ownership of assignments.
