Certifying Mechanic – PAN India

About the role

The Certifying Mechanic ensures that all aircraft maintenance work across India complies with company standards and airworthiness regulations, guaranteeing high dispatch reliability and serviceability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify all line‑maintenance tasks, including subcontracted work, in line with statutory airworthiness regulations.
• Issue appropriate Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) after each maintenance action.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and ensure it is cleared before aircraft release.
• Report any occurrence, incident, significant defect, or un‑airworthy condition to the Shift In‑Charge/AME.
• Implement safety policies and address human‑factors issues during maintenance.
• Adhere to company operating procedures, quality reporting systems, and Line Maintenance Procedures Manual.
• Maintain a professional appearance reflecting the company image.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• AME License in Category A1 (Turbine Engine) issued by DGCA, India.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, CAME, Line Maintenance Procedures, and MCC procedures.
• Current authorization on Boeing 737 NG/737 MAX, Airbus A320, or ATR aircraft is preferred.
• Understanding of aviation regulations CAR145 and CAR M and their application to aircraft operation and maintenance.
