Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

ApoKOS Rehabilitation, India’s first fully integrated rehabilitation hospital, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing neurological, cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, stroke, and spine rehabilitation. This full‑time, on‑site position supports patients in achieving independence and returning to daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Transfer and position patients safely, following proper handling techniques.
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support therapy schedules by preparing patients for rehabilitation sessions.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Strong patient‑care orientation with basic clinical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for interaction with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of infection control, hygiene maintenance and safety protocols.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple patients and therapy schedules.
• Empathy, patience and a commitment to person‑centered care.
• Completion of a recognized Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent program and appropriate registration.
• Prior experience in a hospital, long‑term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred; exposure to neurological or orthopedic rehab is an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
