Certified Nursing Assistant – Elderly Care Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our elderly care facility in Pune. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to senior residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort on a full‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support to elderly residents.
• Monitor vital signs and overall health condition regularly.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication records.
• Assist residents with daily healthcare needs and medical procedures.
• Coordinate with visiting doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Identify and promptly report any changes in residents’ health status.
• Maintain detailed nursing notes, medical records, and medication charts.
• Respond to emergencies and deliver appropriate first aid.
• Uphold infection‑control, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with caretakers and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.

Required profile

• ANM qualification with a valid nursing registration.
• Prior experience in elderly care, nursing homes, hospitals, or assisted‑living facilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient, empathetic attitude toward senior citizens.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights.
• Basic knowledge of emergency care and common geriatric health conditions.
