Cellarhand / Packaging Assistant

About the role

We are a 20‑acre cidery on the Sunshine Coast that produces craft cider, hosts live music and runs events. We are seeking a friendly, reliable individual to join our team as a cellarhand and packaging assistant. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a vibrant, outdoor environment and is eager to learn the basics of beverage production and packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cellar operations, including cleaning, moving barrels and monitoring fermentation.
• Package finished cider into bottles, cans or kegs, following health and safety guidelines.
• Load and unload pallets, operate basic packaging equipment, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Support the team during events and tours by handling product samples and logistics.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors.
• Reliability and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing for extended periods.
