CCTV Operator

About the role

The CCTV Operator will work on‑site at Shadowfax's Rajkot distribution centre, monitoring live and recorded video feeds to protect people, assets and inventory. The role supports security and logistics operations by detecting suspicious activity and preserving video evidence for investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Observe live camera feeds and identify any unusual or unsafe behavior.
• Report incidents promptly to authorized personnel and maintain accurate incident logs.
• Retrieve, preserve and hand over video recordings for investigations.
• Check camera functionality and coordinate repairs with technical teams.
• Follow established security protocols and escalation procedures.

Required profile

• Strong observation and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work extended monitoring periods and shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Clear communication skills for documenting incidents and coordinating with security and operations teams.
• Understanding of basic safety, security and confidentiality practices.
• Reliability and good time‑management in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
