CATIA/SolidWorks Design Engineer (2-5 yrs) – Pune

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CATIA/SolidWorks Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Bavdhan, Pune. The role involves creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, supporting product development from concept through prototype testing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA and SolidWorks.
• Create and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Conduct design reviews, present designs to stakeholders and implement design changes.
• Support product lifecycle management activities and participate in prototype testing.
• Prepare documentation, reports and assist in training junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Design Engineer using CATIA/SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
