About the role
The Cashier role at Lotus Electronics is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Indore. You will be the front‑line representative handling all customer transactions and ensuring a smooth, courteous checkout experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, card and digital payments accurately using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, balance the cash register and maintain precise transaction records.
- Greet customers, answer basic product and price queries, and coordinate with sales staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Apply company policies for returns, exchanges and payment security.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Attention to detail and reliability in following billing and security procedures.
- Prior cashier or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Required skills
- POS system operation.
- Cash handling.
- Basic mathematical calculations for totals, discounts and change.
