Cashier – Retail Store (Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cashier to join our retail team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for accurate billing, cash handling and delivering excellent customer service in a high‑end jewellery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer billing and payment transactions using the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, UPI and other approved payment methods.
• Perform cash reconciliation, end‑of‑day closing and maintain accurate financial records.
• Verify invoices, receipts and payment records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Store Operations to ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Resolve customer billing queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company cash‑management policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution (commerce background preferred).
• 2–5 years of cashier experience, preferably in jewellery, luxury or organized retail.
• Strong numerical aptitude, high integrity and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with POS systems and billing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
