About the role

The Accounts Executive supports the day‑to‑day accounting operations of a retail store. Working closely with store management, the role ensures that all financial paperwork is processed accurately and on time, contributing to smooth financial flow within the store environment.

Key responsibilities

Process and record incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring correct classification, verification of amounts, and timely entry into the accounting system.
Maintain organized accounting records, including systematic filing and digital archiving of all financial documents to facilitate easy retrieval.
Assist with cash handling procedures, including cash register reconciliation at shift end, preparation of cash deposits, and verification against sales records.
Support bank transaction activities such as preparing bank slips, monitoring daily deposits, and reconciling bank statements with internal records.
Ensure all accounting documentation complies with internal policies, audit standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
