Cashier – Full-time On-site Role

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join our fast‑paced food and hospitality outlet in Bijnor. The role involves handling all customer billing activities, ensuring accurate transactions, and providing friendly service in a bustling restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and digital payments using the POS system.
- Issue receipts and apply correct prices, discounts, and promotional offers.
- Greet customers, answer basic product or menu queries, and maintain a clean billing counter.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth order flow.
- Follow company policies for returns, exchanges, and customer issue resolution.
Required profile
- Strong basic math and numeracy skills for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
