Cashier – Customer Transactions & POS Operations

About the role

The Cashier position is a full‑time, on‑site role at High Dive International’s client location in Ludhiana. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling all payment transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive cash, card, and digital payments and issue accurate receipts.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and maintain the cash drawer.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Maintain precise transaction records and update sales logs.
• Greet customers, answer basic product or service questions, and provide courteous assistance.
• Report any payment or billing issues to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service attitude with clear communication.
• Ability to follow company procedures and work reliably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with POS systems and related billing software.
