Cashier – Customer Service & POS Operations

About the role

The company is an emerging business in Delhi seeking a full‑time Cashier to manage customer transactions and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will be the front‑line representative, handling cash, card and digital payments with accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, card and digital payments, issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Answer customer inquiries, provide product or service information and resolve basic issues.
• Keep the checkout area tidy and follow cash‑handling and security policies.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall store operations.

Required profile

• Strong numeracy and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
• Clear verbal communication and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Basic familiarity with POS systems and digital payment methods.
• Good time‑management, reliable attendance and ability to work efficiently during peak periods.
• Integrity and commitment to company policies and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
