Caretaker – Home Healthcare Support

About the role

Sahara Home Care is seeking a full‑time caretaker to provide compassionate, on‑site support to patients in Panvel. You will help clients with daily living activities while ensuring a safe, clean environment and following care plans created by nurses or doctors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.
• Monitor basic health indicators and report any changes promptly.
• Maintain hygiene and infection‑control standards.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful communication with patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, and other care team members.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education; healthcare‑related courses are a plus.
• Prior experience as a caretaker, nursing assistant, or home health aide preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and maintain accurate records.
• Emotional resilience, patience, and a compassionate attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or holidays, and be on‑site in Panvel.
