About the role
The Capacity Specialist joins Nestlé’s planning and execution teams to manage transportation planning and operations. In this role you will handle external relationship management, carrier selection, loss recovery and other cost‑service optimisation activities, ensuring efficient movement of goods across the network.
Key responsibilities
- Execute hub strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads.
- Perform execution‑level external relationship management, including carrier selection and loss recovery.
- Identify and escalate gaps in carrier coverage with respect to service, cost, and performance.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for all carrier queries.
- Drive transportation cost and service optimisation activities for Nestlé.
