Calibration Engineer – Vehicle Testing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer specialized in vehicle testing to lead ABS‑ESC calibration activities for commercial vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with OEM customers and cross‑functional teams to develop, calibrate and validate control algorithms throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle testing and performance evaluation of Electronic Stability Control systems on commercial vehicles.
• Analyze customer requirements and calibrate ABS/ESC algorithms to meet Bosch, customer and regulatory standards.
• Conduct summer and winter test sessions, troubleshoot hardware, software and data‑acquisition issues.
• Provide technical support to customers and ensure compliance with development and quality processes.
• Support project acquisition activities and collaborate with other departments.
• Travel to test tracks across India as required.

Required profile

• B.E. or M.Tech in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in vehicle testing, brake or lane‑change tests, and ABS/ESC calibration.
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, homologation testing and ability to push vehicles to physical limits.
• Good driving skills and analytical reasoning.

Required skills

• ABS/ESC calibration and powertrain calibration knowledge.
• Programming in C, Matlab and Simulink; experience with Ascet.
• Hands‑on use of DAQ systems, VBOX, Vector tools, ETAS tools, data loggers and sensors.
• Familiarity with vehicle dynamics and testing procedures.
