Cafe Manager – On-site, Gurugram

About the role

Espangle is seeking a full‑time Cafe Manager to lead daily operations at its Gurugram location. The role focuses on delivering a guest‑centric experience while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of café operations, including food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service.
• Manage staff schedules, supervise team members, and provide training and motivation.
• Coordinate inventory, handle vendor relationships, and monitor costs to ensure profitability.
• Engage with guests, resolve concerns, and drive sales through upselling and promotions.
• Implement standard operating procedures and report performance metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Solid knowledge of food & beverage operations, hygiene, and safety compliance.
• Proven experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management, including shift and team supervision.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts on‑site in Gurugram.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using inventory management tools.
• Familiarity with MS Office or similar software.
