CAD Designer – RCC 2D Drawings & Rebar Detailing

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Designer to produce detailed 2‑D RCC drawings and rebar detailing for concrete structures. The role involves creating General Arrangement drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting the design team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare RCC 2‑D drawings, General Arrangement (GAD) layouts, and detailed reinforcement drawings in AutoCAD (A0/A1 size) following EDRC HCIC standards and client specifications.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision tracking, and organized storage of all drawing files.
• Develop and manage AutoCAD blocks for repetitive elements and incorporate True North orientation in GADs.
• Collaborate with design engineers, BIM teams, geotechnical and MEP departments to clarify technical inputs and perform interference checks.
• Ensure timely issuance of drawings in line with project schedules while maintaining high accuracy and minimal rework.

Required profile

• Proven experience in preparing RCC 2‑D drawings and rebar detailing.
• Strong attention to drawing standards, revision control, and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and meet project deadlines.
