Cabin Modules & Systems Version Engineer

About the role

The Cabin Modules & Systems Version Engineer will work within Airbus India’s cabin‑systems division to translate customer requirements into customized product versions. The role focuses on maximizing reuse of existing technical options, creating new solutions when needed, and ensuring cost‑effective customization while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer‑specific requirements and assess their impact on product versioning.
• Leverage existing technical options to minimise customization cost.
• Develop new technical options by adapting or parametrising known solutions.
• Plan and coordinate deliverables throughout the end‑to‑end customization process.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of part‑number steering, available options and viable combinations.
• Propose optimisation scenarios for standard product development, including standardisation of former customer options.
• Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.

Required profile

• Professional engineering background with experience in product configuration or version management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent planning and coordination capabilities.
• Commitment to integrity, compliance and sustainable growth.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of technical options and part‑number management within aerospace cabin systems.
