Buyer – Procurement (B3)

About the role

As a Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, machinery and services that equip our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate across teams, monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers and procure essential items that turn possibilities into realities for our customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Execute and manage pull‑ins/push‑outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to resolve supply issues with engineering, manufacturing and program managers.
• Drive purchasing activities to achieve the lowest cost while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Lead inventory and excess‑and‑obsolete (E&Z) reduction efforts.
• Manage and lead assigned purchasing projects, overseeing cost, schedule and scope.
• Handle complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to purchasing process improvements and act as a trainer for department activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus.
