About the role
As a Buyer I you will support the procurement of materials, supplies, machinery and services for state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering and accounting teams to ensure timely availability of items while adhering to cost and quality targets.
Key responsibilities
- Support negotiation of pricing, delivery and purchasing terms under supervision for non‑strategic suppliers.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering to maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure production continuity.
- Issue RFQs, evaluate proposals, negotiate pricing and delivery timelines, process purchase orders and verify deliveries.
- Review MRP outputs and execute planning actions such as pull‑ins, push‑outs, and order cancellations based on business priorities.
Required profile
- 0–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electronics Engineering.
- Basic understanding of procurement principles, processes and systems.
