Business Unit Controller

About the role

The Business Unit Controller will ensure statutory and tax compliance for one or several countries, working closely with outsourced service providers and internal business partners. You will be responsible for accurate accounting in enterprise systems, timely month‑end close, and robust control of underlying processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain local statutory and tax compliance, coordinating with outsourced providers.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of legal entities in enterprise systems.
• Drive month‑end close in line with LSEG global reporting timetable, reconciling critical accounts.
• Analyse balance‑sheet and cost accounts, and support regional reviews.
• Collaborate with Tax and Transfer Pricing departments on tax packs, provisions, and quarterly calculations.
• Liaise with auditors for statutory, SOX, and tax audits.

Required profile

• Accounting graduate with 4‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting regulations and standards.
• Experience with audits in medium to large organisations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and self‑motivation skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• SAP/ERP system proficiency
