Business Trainee

About the role

Join Invesco’s Global Compliance team as a Business Trainee in Hyderabad. You will work within the Compliance Surveillance sub‑function, supporting trade surveillance, market abuse monitoring and best‑execution reviews while gaining hands‑on experience with industry‑leading order management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review Market Abuse alerts daily using the surveillance tool and investigate irregularities.
• Monitor best‑execution and fair‑allocation activities and escalate potential violations.
• Extract and analyse data from CRD, Aladdin and Bloomberg platforms.
• Prepare documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance‑related projects, including automation of analytical workflows.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of financial products and the mutual‑fund industry.
• Understanding of trading principles and fundamentals.
• Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration across time zones.
• Master’s degree in finance with a minimum 60% CGPA and no current backlogs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Order Management Systems such as CRD, Aladdin and Bloomberg.
• Data extraction and analysis capabilities.
