Business Development – Sports & Events

About the role

AISECT India is seeking a dynamic Sponsorship & Business Development professional to drive revenue by identifying, pitching, and closing sponsorship and brand partnership opportunities for sports and other company‑led events. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, networking, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire sponsorship opportunities for sports and other events.
• Build and maintain relationships with brands, corporates, agencies and potential sponsors.
• Develop and pitch customized sponsorship proposals and partnership packages.
• Generate leads through networking, market research, cold outreach and existing connections.
• Negotiate sponsorship commercials and close revenue‑generating partnerships.
• Explore new opportunities for brand collaborations, strategic partnerships and event monetization.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in sponsorship sales, sports marketing, event sales, brand partnerships, business development or advertising/media sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close revenue deals.
• Existing network among brands, corporates, marketing teams or agencies is an advantage.
• Experience in sports, events, media, advertising or experiential marketing preferred.
